Hello and welcome to Alex’s Blog. This week, as the days are getting colder and frostier, I thought I would focus on winter biking tips. We’ve done maintaining the bike, we’ve done wrapping yourself up warm, but how about the actual act of motorcycling in Winter? Who better to help me with that than Derek from our Oakmere store. You can’t look on social media these days without reading about bike thefts and these seem to be (worryingly) increasingly common, so I want to explore the different options you have to make sure that this doesn’t happen to you – or to make it as difficult as possible for the thieves!

Hello and welcome to Alex’s Blog. I’ve already looked in to looking after your motorcycle over the winter, today I wanted to talk about how to take care of your kit to keep it in great shape for protecting you. Now that November is looming for many the ‘biking season’ is over and their pride and joy is put away. Before you hang your gear in the darkest corner of the wardrobe you need to do the same as you’ve done with your bike and give it a little TLC. If you keep your kit in good shape then it, in turn, will hopefully keep you in good shape if the worst should happen.
